It takes a minute or so for the sound to make an impact, even on teenagers. Genuine teenage customers who will only be in the shop for a minute or so will not find the sound significant consequence. As the transmission of the sound is directional and as high frequency short wavelengths do not travel effectively through solid objects, it is unlikely that there will be any adverse effect on neighbours. The unit comes complete with a remote ON/OFF switch, so the unit can be turned on and off as required.
